KAT has worked predominantly in feature films, HETV and commercials. She joined the camera department in 2007. As a teenager she found a love for framing and composition at the BRIT school filming musicians perform. A lack of representation of women as camera technicians or operators delayed her path but finally ten years later she created opportunities to learn 16mm on a short film. As a Clapper Loader & 2nd Assistant Camera she worked for DPs such as Robert Richardson ASC, Tom Sigel ASC, John Mathieson BSC, Mark Patten BSC. She has worked on projects for directors Ridley Scott, Spike Lee, Christopher McQuarrie, Justin Lin, Peter Macdonald, Matthew Vaughn, Brad Allen, Jonathan Taylor. In 2017 on the set of ‘A Private War’ Kat was encouraged to learn more about operating specifically steadicam by Shaun Cobley ACO. Her quietened dream of camera operating grew. Kat participated in a GBCT 5-day Steadicam Workshop in 2018 and also in 2022 the Scandinavian Tiffen Gold Workshop; She continues to learn and attend workshops related to cinematography and operating.

Since mid 2021, Kat has worked as an operator for DPs including Mark Patten BSC, Oliver Loncraine, Adriano Goldman ASC BSC ABC, Carlos De Carvalho, Robertos Schaefer ASC, AIC and Doug Milsome BSC ASC.

Kat is an associate member of the Association of Camera Operators, WBTC , GBCT, BECTU.
